Adolescent Support Groups

Meet other teens who are having difficulties at home or at school. Experience healing through knowing you are not alone in depression or low self-esteem, that you may be harboring the same secret someone else is- caught in a cycle of negative thoughts, shame, self-destructive behaviors, addiction, or  control issues. Those interested in groups must pre-register: please call or e-mail for more information.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Groups (DBT)

Are you interested in meeting other individuals who struggle with similar experiences? Or are you ready to experience a supportive and positive environment of peers? There is healing power in knowing that you are not alone in a world of suffering, that there is hope for healing, for dismanteling self-hatred or negative thoughts and worry, for rising above distress and emptiness, and moving together toward a life worth living.  Often times, healing comes from practice and learning through experience. The DBT groups are  2 hours, modeled after the Dialectical  Behavioral Therapy (DBT) approach. These groups are ideal for those who need an increased ability to manage stress, deal with others more effectively, stabilize mood, and create a sense of  control in one's life.
